What Is QiCore® Improvement
Additionally, these exercises increase internal Qi (vital energy) and enhance Qi flow throughout the meridians of the body. Once the six sections of QiCore Improvement are learned, this practice can be done by anyone in 15-20 minutes a day with exceptional results.
The Three Levels of the QiCore® Method
The QiCore® method consists of three levels. Each subsequent level expands on the original practice to include a different focus.
QiCore® Improvement
Physical Liberation
Focuses on physical movements and opening blockages in the body.
QiCore® Nourishment
Emotional Freedom
Focuses on directing refined Qi to the inner organs to allow for deep emotional healing.
QiCore® Expansion
Beyond the Mind
Focuses on cultivating a profound expansion of consciousness.
QiCore Improvement begins in Level 1 by addressing the needs of the physical body and evolves in Levels 2 and 3 to include the possibility of deep emotional and mental freedom. The freedom of an open heart and an unburdened mind and body becomes a foundation for profound awakening.
Level 1 - Physical Liberation
Your Revitalized Spine
QiCore Improvement targets correcting the structure of the spine and creating space in the lumbar vertebrae. As the structure of the spine is corrected, the function and abilities of the central nervous system are enhanced.
Of particular interest is the opening of the lumbar vertebrae. Between L2 and L3 is the energy gate called Mingmen, also known as the Gate of Life. As this gate opens, vital force nourishes the Lower Dantian. The Lower Dantian directly impacts the health of the kidneys and overall physical vitality
Your Balanced Nervous System
QiCore Improvement focuses on balancing the central nervous system which is composed of the brain and spinal cord and serves to interpret information from the world as well as all parts of the body. A healthy central nervous system is critical for the body to function optimally. The spinal cord contains millions of threadlike nerves that branch out to different parts of the body communicating with every cell, organ, tissue, muscle, etc. Think of the spine as a superhighway with messages from the nerves traveling to and from the brain. This happens almost instantaneously. Nourishing and strengthening the spine (which protects the spinal cord) plays a vital role in protecting the central nervous system.
Master Yuantong Liu
Zhineng Qigong Master Yuantong Liu created QiCore Improvement based on the methods and Hunyuan Qi principles developed by Dr. Pang Ming.
Master Liu began teaching the QiCore Improvement at his workshops several years ago as a set of warm-up exercises to support his students and to test the efficacy of the method. As he continued to teach and refine his methods, he received valuable feedback that confirmed the effectiveness of the practice.
Master Yuantong Liu has been sharing Zhineng Qigong theories, principles and methods for more than 40 years and was trained directly by Dr Pang Ming during the rigorous teachers’ program in the Huaxia Zhineng Qigong Clinic & Training Center – globally renowned as the first “medicine-less hospital in the world”.
Dr. Pang Ming
Dr. Pang Ming is an Associate Professor of Western Medicine, professor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the founder and Grandmaster of Zhineng Qigong Science. He is the founder of the Beijing Qigong Research Society and the Hua Xia Zhineng Qigong Training Center and has also held the position of Deputy Director at the Eastern Sports Facility in Nanding Day University.
